I have been a long time fan of this popular series ever since it began. I really enjoyed the T.V. show’s dark look on the zombie apocalypse and what regular people would have to do to survive. Recently, this show has turned into less about worrying about zombies and more about killing other survivors – people who face the same common enemy as everyone else! I really enjoy this show, and Sunday’s mid-season premiere, but I believe the show has strayed from its zombie roots and the zombies are now just a mild inconvenience to the survivors in this apocalyptic wasteland.

I used to watch The Walking Dead constantly. The first three seasons were some of the best I had ever seen. The show had enough controversy to not be perfect but in a way, perfect. Then the fourth season came out. The beginning was very good but then after mid-season the show dropped in quality. The fifth season was even worse. The sixth season, however, was better. It started out horribly but when they introduced Negan I became interested. The mid season finale was absolutely amazing. After having two seasons that were horrendous, I’m glad to see that the show is back to how it was.

The Walking Dead is a great show, and its new season is a real nail bitter. In this new season, the group runs into some conflict with another group that kills many of the main characters. The group must get together with the local communities and take out the opposing side. This season has been pretty action packed so far as Rick’s group builds an army. I am very excited to see what happens next in the season. So far this new season of The Walking Dead has been very good. I really think everyone should watch it.
