On the first day of spring break, most students are preparing to travel, but for senior Jessie LeBlanc, she spent this day at the school. LeBlanc spent the day painting the girls bathroom with inspirational quotes.

“My winter wish this year through StuCo was to paint in the girls bathrooms. I just wanted to do something to make the bathrooms a little more upbeat and positive. I think encouraging each other is really important and this was a good way to do that,” said LeBlanc.

LeBlanc did not do this on her own, she got inspiration from others.

LeBlanc said, “I saw a couple other schools had done it over the summer so I took a picture of the idea and kept it until I had a good opportunity to bring it up.”

During spring break, LeBlanc only painted one bathroom but plans on continuing her project on a later date.

“I plan on painting in two bathrooms and hopefully passing on the project to someone to continue after I graduate,” said LeBlanc.

The project was supported by Marc Williams, principal and StuCo and will be a great addition to Spring Hill High School.  LeBlanc has already received tons of positive feedback about her project on social media and hopes to continue to grow the project in the future.
