The Internet is blowing up after the news of the alleged break up between SNL actor, Pete Davidson and singer, Ariana Grande.

In May of this year, Grande announced the end of her almost two year relationship with rapper, Mac Miller. Rumors of Davidson and Grande quickly followed the breakup. The timeline following these rumors is quite a short one. The two confirmed their relationship on May 30th, sealing the deal on a post via Instagram. On June 2nd, Davidson got two tattoos: one of the bunny ears featured in Grande’s Dangerous Woman album and the other on his thumb with the initials, AG. On June 5, Grande was photographed with a ring on her finger and on June 11, People Magazine reported that the couple was in fact engaged. Fans of Grande quickly reacted to this engagement. Grande and Davidson quickly moved in together following the engagement. The news about the couple reached more than just Grande’s fans and opinions circulated around the internet.

Grande’s new album Sweetener came out in August, featuring the song “Pete Davidson”, all about Pete Davidson, of course. After all of the public displays of affection, news of the two ending the engagement shocked many. The split has quickly been linked to the death of ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller early in September. Grande took his death very hard and has been taking time to herself; she has not been in the public eye since. However, some sources say the couple are just slowing things down and waiting on the engagement. Davidson and Grande have not come out with a statement about the break up, making it seem that this may be the end for the couple; only time will tell.
