Harvey Weinstein was convicted a month ago for rape in the third degree and a criminal sexual act, and he was sentenced Wednesday. His sentencing resulted in him being sent to prison for 23 years. More than 90 women came forward to accuse Weinstein of sexual harassment, and sexual assault.

The long-awaited sentencing and conviction of Weinstein has been a landmark to the #MeToo movement against harassment and sexual assault. This movement has allowed a lot of people to find their voice in speaking out about their experiences and past traumas.
