Governor Andrew Cuomo Accused of Sexual Harassment
Andrew Cuomo, the governor of New York, has come under fire recently for comments he made in the past. Former aides of the governor have accused him of sexual harassment and inappropriate comments (photo courtesy AP News).
Sexual harassment allegations against New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo have surfaced recently. Twenty-five-year-old Charlotte Bennett, a low-level aide in Cuomo’s administration, revealed that the governor made comments to her insinuating that he was looking for an affair. A former adviser and aide, Lindsey Boylan, also shed light on allegations against Cuomo that she had made late last year.
Since this information has been revealed, Cuomo has made a few comments and will be investigated for his actions. He stated that he was being “playful” and that his behavior was “misinterpreted.” President Biden is supportive of the investigation and many prominent politicians agree that Gov. Cuomo’s actions were wrong.
