On Sept. 27, 2022, the voting for the additions to Russian-held regions in Ukraine is coming to a close. Before voting, there were pre-decided factors that created tension between Russia and the West. Some pictures are shown of Russian troops going door to door in Ukraine to pressure them to vote. After the West is seeing how the Russians are handling the voting process and the pre-decided factors, they are firmly standing with Ukraine and claims the vote is fraudulent.

As this war continues, these changes make it an even more dangerous atmosphere in Ukraine, with the Russian warning of deploying nuclear weapons to defend “their” territory. Bringing the talk of nuclear warfare into the air only increases tension and dangers in this war.
