Meet Your SHIBT Hostesses and Coordinators
On Tuesday, Jan. 21, The Spring Hill Invitational Basketball Tournament, (SHIBT,) started. The basketball teams participating look forward to this week but so does another group of people, the group of students who are chosen as hostesses for the other schools participating. Two hostesses from every grade are picked by their peers to represent Spring Hill and welcome other schools to the high school. This is an honor to the students that are chosen. Their responsibilities include meeting their teams when they arrive at the high school, showing them where the locker rooms are, going over their schedules, eating with their designated teams and getting anything they need. The hostesses this year are Olivia LeBlanc, 9, Daley Browning, 9, Alivia Bates, 10, Molly Langford, 10, Kyra Fuchs, 11, Madison Sutton, 11, Sloane McKinney, 12, and MaHaley Abel, 12. There are also a Sophomore, Junior and Senior coordinator for hostesses, they are Elise Belcher, 10, Alyssa Hain, 11, and Avery Copeland, 11.
