This past Friday, Sept. 6, the football team faced their first game of the year against the Bonner Springs Braves. The varsity Broncos walked away with a massive win, leading the season 43-0. Hank Kotchavar, running back, 11, shared their perspective on the win.
“It felt amazing. To come up on the first game and blow a team out 43 to nothing. It’s crazy, and going into the next game knowing we are capable of doing that is really big.”
Look forward to the next game on Sept. 13 where they will compete against Tonganoxie in an away game.
“We are not going to give them an easy time, we’re going to be a hard team to beat,” Kotchavar said.
