Plaza Annual Art Fair Returns

The plaza in Kansas City is where the fair is taking place. This event occurs every year (Photo by Marelbu).

This weekend, Sept. 20 through the 22, the 94th annual Plaza Art fair is returning to the Kansas City Area. This fair draws over 200 artist from all across the nation. This fair includes live music, booths, and various activities as well as a variety of art types. The fair is free, along with all the parking garages.

The hours of the fair are 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sept. 20, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sept. 21, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 22. This fair is a good opportunity to expand your knowledge on different art around the world, as well as enjoy a free activity around the Kansas City area.

Hi, my name is Hannah Mueller and this is my third year in SPUB and I am our website manager this year. I am most excited to continue to write about things that may be taboo but I feel should be talked about! Journalism matters to me because everyone's voice needs a chance to be heard and many topics are important but aren't talked about. Other than journalism, I am heavily involved with theater, especially the tech side, and I also am in Destiny. I enjoy reading and hanging out with my friends. Overall, I am super excited to finish up my time within SPUB and make the most of this year :)
