On Friday, Oct. 6, many members of StuCo traveled to Wichita to attend the Regional StuCo conference, which many 5A and 6A schools traveled to. Through going there, students hope to gain knowledge about leadership strategies and ways to involve their student body in events at their school.
The student body president, Brynna Pierson, 12, spent the day there.
“The guest speaker was amazing and got the audience excited, but I wish we were able to converse with the other schools about ideas,” Pierson said. “These conferences are important because the speakers always have something good to say, and being able to talk about ideas is the best form of inspiration.”
