On Wednesday, Oct. 9, students traveled to Mission Southside, located in Olathe, to organize various items that came from donations. The organization collects donations ranging from clothes to food.
“I [see] volunteering as helping the community while also representing the school,” Keegan Bonner, 10.
Participating in volunteer projects will help get hours in while also being active in representing the school. Being apart of the community will build a resume over time. There will be more Volunteer project throughout the year. For more information, talk to Mrs. Rodden or look for posters with information for future events.
