On Thursday night at 6:15 PM, several officers responded to an alarming call on the 8800 block of Tomlinson Court of Anne Arundel, Maryland; a 16-year-old was shot several times and is now in the hospital in critical condition. Additionally, a 38-year-old woman was shot, but thankfully is suffering less severe injuries. Shockingly, police have reported that the number of people involved could range from ten to seventeen people as there was a fight erupting on the block prior to the shots fired, with several people in it. It is unknown if they were trying to break it up or contributing to the brawl itself.

As a bystander, it is important to never involve yourself in any sort of altercation, especially if it is physical. Police have advised people to call authorities and keep their distance since it can be hard for them to determine who is involved and who isn’t, which can lead to other complications.
