On Nov. 6, Republican candidate Donald Trump won the presidential election against Kamala Harris, Democratic candidate, and is going to be the 47th president of the U.S. This is their second term as president with their last presidency being from 2016 to 2020.
On Nov. 5, the high school’s social studies department held a mock election to give students a chance to see what their school politics are like. The winner of the high school election, with 61% of the votes, was Trump. Since the majority of high schoolers can’t vote, this was an opportunity for students to express their opinions.
