Last Thursday, Nov. 14, Friday, Nov. 15, and Saturday, Nov. 16, the theater department put on a musical production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. The production received acclaim from students and staff alike; it was the first show in the program’s history to completely sell out a show. Success at this level comes with much sacrifice, however.
Daniel Liang, 12, who played Cogsworth, said, “I’m incredibly happy, everyone put in so much work and it paid off so well.”
Looking forward to the future, the bar has only been raised higher.
“I hope for it to just keep getting better and better. I think [Adrianna] Wendel [has] proved that we can do really amazing shows and I think [they’re] only going to get better from here.”
The theater department will perform an adaptation of the movie The Outsiders in the spring.
