On Feb. 5, Santorini Greece was hit with a 5.2 magnitude earthquake, starting at a 5.0 magnitude last week. Greece has not declared that Santorini was in a state of emergency until March 3 to help recover from the change in seismic activity.
Santorini is one of the most popular travel destination in Europe with around 3.4 million tourist a year but has only 20,000 residents. Greece has arranged flights to help residents and tourist escape the wreckage, however no damage has been reported so far.
