Members of the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) recently visited Prairie Creek Elementary School to provide an engaging and educational session for the young students. They demonstrated the various parts of the human body and their functions, giving the children hands-on, interactive experiences with learning about health and anatomy.
Lily Boden, 12, said, “It helps expose them [the kids] to different things that maybe they want to do in their future and if they enjoy learning about their body.”
The student participated in fun activities that highlighted the workings of the systems, senses, and health, encouraging curiosity and love for science. The event proved to be an inspiring and informative experience for both the young students and the HOSA members, creating excitement about the potential careers in the health field.
