On April 2, President Donald Trump implemented a world wide 10% tariff on universally imported goods. Since then, a number of countries around the world have clapped back at the United States President, with tariffs set to start on April 5, responses have ranged from negative press to heavier tariffs on the United States imports.
Ursula von der Leyen, European Commission chief, stated that a number of European countries would be working together to implement a 20% tariff on imported United States goods. Alongside Europe, 60 more countries have promised to implement higher tariffs. With the ever changing world economy, tariffs are set to make drastic changes in the following weeks.
