On April 12, prom will be happening from 7 p.m to 10 p.m. It will be located at Embassy Suites in Olathe. The theme for this year is “A Midnight To Remember”.
Quorynn Harris, 11, is part of the planning process. “What I’ve had to do so far is just lay out the entire planning process and then order things and then, on the day of, I decorate and that’s about it. I designed the posters and the tickets…[Prom] is different this year because this is one of the first years in a long time where we’re literally required to go to a venue because the capacity of students is beyond the tents that we usually use.” Harris said.
