Homecoming week is finally here! This week has been packed with various festivities each day and will eventually conclude with the fall homecoming dance. With events like themed spirit days, a horseshoe scavenger hunt, and concourse decorating, students have had many opportunities to get involved and experience the excitement of homecoming week. The annual car parade is Avery Gallagher’s, 11, favorite way to get involved with homecoming week festivities.
“I like the car parade because I am able to go visit the little kids in the district,” they said.
The car parade involves different activities come together to create a parade as they drive by all of the elementary schools in our district. Come support our football team on Sept. 12 and see who gets crowned homecoming king and queen, then dance the night away at the fall homecoming dance from 9:30 p.m. to midnight.
