He was seen not trying to tackle Trevor Lawrence, the quarterback for the Jaguars, which ultimately led to a touchdown. Many people online are criticizing him for this, which led to him deleting his social media platforms.
Chiefs fans are very passionate about football, so Chris Jones’ performance upset many Chiefs fans. Despite his mistake on the field, Jones doesn’t deserve the overwhelming hate. Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs quarterback, even came out and responded to the hate by supporting and uplifting Jones.
