Feb. 2 is the annual Groundhog Day for Punxsutawney Phil. This was the 135th annual year for Phil to decide if there are six more weeks of winter or not. He woke up in the morning, came out of his burrow, and saw his shadow. According to the legend, since Phil saw his shadow, that dooms everyone for six more weeks of winter weather.

Groundhog Day has been an event since 1887; many people each year would gather to see if Phil sees his shadow. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year thousands of people had to watch it virtually. They logged on to the livestream, got comfortable, and watched to see his shadow.
