North Korea Launches test Missile

North Korea conducted its longest-ever weapons test. It was a nuclear-capable missile which flew over Japan and could reach the U.S. Pacific territory of Guam and farther. South Korean and U.S. militaries launched fighter jets off South Korea’s west coast to show their united strength against North Korea.

The launch made by North Korea was its largest demonstration this year. They are pushing to develop a fully fledged nuclear arsenal that will threaten the U.S. mainland and its allies. Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, refuses to return nuclear diplomacy with the U.S.
