Skydiver pronounced dead after Pregame Jump
A 55-year-old skydiver died after taking a pregame jump before a Tennessee football game. On Friday, a professional skydiver took a jump at the David Crockett High School football stadium in Jonesborough, Tenn. Police still don’t know what the cause was considering his parachute deployed. Witnesses and the company didn’t see anything unusual about his parachute or the free fall.
The skydiver has worked with the company Jump TN for years now and has performed over 1,500 jumps over his career. The man was airlifted to the hospital after the incident before being pronounced dead. The skydiver’s identity and cause of death has not been released yet. The football game was delayed after the incident had occurred with respect toward the family that suffered the loss.
