Former New Jersey governor Chris Christie spoke in front of an audience about Donald Trump’s second run for presidency. Christie was a supporter of the former president until the results of the 2020 election were announced. It was said that Christie no longer supports Trump due to his refusal to accept the loss. This is evident in Christie’s speech.

The speech was strongly worded and called out many other Republican candidates. “Donald Trump is a TV star, nothing more, nothing less,” Christie said. “Let me suggest to you that in putting him back in the White House, the reruns will be worse than the original show.” He states that if Trump were to return to office his “policy and character failures” would continue to grow.
