Student Fatally Shot at Oklahoma College
On Monday, a 20-year-old student was shot to death by Brandon Morrissette, 30, at Rose State College. At this college just outside Oklahoma City, no other deaths were reported by Midwest City Police. Morrissette surrendered to several officers near the center of campus; he was later stated to be faced with a charge of first-degree murder.
Kevin McCormack, a student on campus, was said to have heard gunfire in which he looked over and saw the victim fall to the ground. McCormack witnessed the victim walking with Morrissette’s wife who was appearing to calm down Morrissette upon shooting the victim. The motive of the murder remains to raise questions to the public.
