Increased Violence in Kosovo

Kosovo is a country located between Albania and Serbia. Out of the 1.8 million people who call Kosovo home 92% of them are Albanian and 6% are Serbian. After having peace in Kosovo for the last 24 years, tensions have began to rise between the Albanian’s and the Serb’s.

The Albanians who make up majority of the country currently have 4 officers running the country while the Serbs have zero. This is uppseting the Serbs causing trouble on the streets and violence in villages. NATO has deployed 700 troops to the area in hopes to keep peace.

Hi guys! I’m Madi Brown, I’m a junior and this is my second year in SPUB! This year I am the graphics manager and I am so excited to help make a beautiful yearbook, along with sharing stories about not only what's happening at the highschool, but also around the world.
