GasBuddy’s Head of Petroleum, Patrick De Haan, stated that gas prices across the nation are decreasing due to demand easing as the cooler months rapidly approach. Most gas stations in the KC Metro area are at $3.29 a gallon and some are even below $3 per gallon.
“But for now, it’s good news at the pump. As we go into the holidays, I’m expecting some of the lowest gas prices we’ve seen in several months.” De Haan said. Thankfully, if people need to fill up their tanks multiple times a week, it’ll be far less expensive for a tank of gas.
