Kansas City Chiefs Touchdown in Las Vegas for Super Bowl LVIII

Fans in the crowd take photos and celebrate following the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory against the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV. The teams will meet again in Super Bowl LVIII on Feb. 11.

The AFC Champions departed from Kansas City for Las Vegas on Sunday just one week before the team takes on the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII. This will be the Chief’s fourth Super Bowl appearance in the last five seasons and will meet the 49ers again four seasons after their win in 2020. The Chiefs were missing some key players during practice in Kansas City this past week such as Chris Jones, Isiah Pacheco, and Joe Thuney. However, players such as Jerrick McKinnon and Kadarius Toney are expected to play next Sunday.

People across the Kansas City Metro are eagerly anticipating the game, as many have already planned their Super Bowl parties. Businesses all over the area are decked out in red and gold to support the team, and many local clothing and food companies are making creative items to prepare for the game.
