Being the youngest child in a family of now nine is something that has impacted me in a good way. Growing up being the youngest meant going to all my siblings’ sports games and their events. Some of my favorite childhood memories are at one of their games, supporting them was easy because they showed me how.
My family has lived in Spring Hill a little longer than twenty years and all my siblings including myself, grew up here. My family has built many connections and bonds with people in the community that has led to me.
Ever since I was a little girl I would get asked, “Are you a Crabtree?”, “Oh my Gosh, another Crabtree?” or I’ll get asked which sibling I am most like. When I get asked questions like that, I do nothing but smile and laugh because I get it frequently.
Over the years my family has continued to grow as one of my brothers got married and had kids. This has made our family bigger and the support continues to grow.
The best part of my big family is the support we all give to each other. Having a big family is fun, but having a big family that is supportive, kind and a joy to be in will forever be my favorite thing.
