The Kansas City chief’s cheerleaders were a tight-knit family much like the football team itself. They were supported and connected to each other. (K. Calvert)

A longtime cheerleader, who was a woman’s health activist, died after giving birth to her daughter, Charolette Willow. Charlotte was stillborn and was diagnosed with sepsis during her pregnancy. They sought out hospitalization during her 21st week of pregnancy. Krystal Cheered during the 2006-2011 seasons for the chiefs and the 2013-2016 seasons.

No one ever never knows what is going on during someone’s personal life, and everyone should try to be more considerate of those who have more of a following. The contributes that Krystal made will always be remembered as she was strong and loyal.

Jordyn Vander Veur, Staff Writer
Hey! I'm Jordyn Vander Veur.  This will be my first year being a part of the SPUB staff. I can’t wait for all of the opportunities I will get as I'm getting more involved with school things, and I'm glad to be a part of something that can put a smile on people’s face. I took Journalism last year, and while that's my only school experience, I've loved writing since I can ever remember. I'm looking forward to a year of new decisions, and I'm excited to be able to tell my kids when I'm 30 I helped design the yearbook in highschool!
