On April 16th, an 8-year-old was found driving In downtown St. Louis, while his mother slept in the backseat of the vehicle. Reports from the Metropoiltan Police department say that the child had been seen driving on the wrong direction of traffic. The child told police that the mother was unable to drive.
The mother was found unconsious in the backseat of the vehicle along with a 3-year-old that wasn’t secured in a carseat. Police took the mother into custody. St. Louis Attorney Office had charged the mother with two counts of first-degree endangering the welfare of two children.
