Hi! My name is Ryker Marmon, and this is my first year in SPUB. I took Publications in middle school and really enjoyed it. I’m on the video team this year because I really enjoyed A/V Fundamentals. I’ve always liked writing in school, and if it’s something I’m passionate about, I really enjoy it. To me, journalism is a way to explain things and to share, whether that’s sharing news or just talking about a topic. There are entertainment sides of journalism, but overall it’s a way to talk about things you don’t always talk about, things that are important and necessary. Outside of school I play video games, occasionally read, watch movies and shows, and that’s about it.
Preston Coffey, Reporter
I’m Preston, I’m a sophomore and this is my first year in SPUB. I am a reporter. My experience with writing is just writing in school. Journalism matters so people know what’s happening in the world. I am unemployed, I play video games and basketball in my free time.
Marrius Hinton, Reporter
Hiiiii there! My name is Marrius Hinton. I’m a sophomore and this is my first year in SPUB. The reason I joined SPUB is because I enjoyed A/V production and making videos. I do have experience making videos and writing but not publishing them on social media. I’m really excited to make memories with the people in SPUB and make new connections. I make art commissions for thumbnails, designs, and stretches in my free time!
