China Lockdown Leads to Protests

Chinese apartments were welded shut with iron bars in order to keep citizens in and prevent the increasing outbreak of COVID-19. Ten people died in the apartments due to being trapped inside, which led to various protests and rising anger in Beijing. Due to these increasing rallies and protests, students were sent home as authorities tried to diffuse the anger of many university students.

Now that the corona virus has been around for a while, people have developed vaccines and ways to help. However, that won’t stop some countries from taking severe actions. Due to China being a communist government, the people of this country really have no say or control of things. The casualties from the trapped apartment fires caused frustration and led to citizens rebelling.
