On Friday Dec. 2, the B-21 Raider was revealed at an air force facility in Palmdale, California. It was the first American bomber aircraft made in 30 years. This project started from the concerns of potential conflicts with China. It is planned for the B-21 Raider to replace the B-2 spirit.

China is estimated to possess 1,500 nuclear weapons by 2035, creating some tension with the U.S. and the Pentagon. The cost of the new Raider has not been shared with the public. The aircraft will make its first flight in 2023; however, the project has only taken seven years to develop compared to other ship and fighter projects taking decades.
