The World Cup started on November 20th, 2022. The final day of round 16 will conclude Tuesday when Morocco faces Spain, and Portugal against Switzerland, for the final two spots of the quarter finals. The results will be determined while on the field, but between Spain and Morocco it will be different between the two teams due to the complex relationship between the two bordered nations that are separated by the Strait of Gibraltar.

The two teams met in the World Cup four years ago in 2018 for the final group game, which ended in a draw of 2-2. Morocco was the team that had advanced to the tournament that was played back in 2018. This National team had many captivated fans back at home, and so did others like Saudi, Qatar, and Tunisia, due to them being the last Arab team playing.
