WNBA star, Brittney Griner, was recently released from a Russian prison after being held captive for 10 months after having a vape in a Russian airport. The U.S. authorities said that Griner was “wrongfully detained,” the charge Russia declined. On the plane ride home she talked for 12 of the 18 hours.

On the flight home Griner made it a priority to get to know everyone on the plane and make connections with them. Even though she was in a prison for 10 months, she still was kind to the people around her. All Griner wanted to do was talk; she talked about basketball and her time in Russia.
