A Ukraine helicopter attack took place on Jan. 18, killing not only the interior minister but also all of the passengers. This included ministry officials as Monastyrsky’s deputy and the State Secretary of the Ministry of International Affairs, a national police official, and three other crew members. The crash also killed nearly a dozen people and took place outside the capital. This purposeful helicopter crash was prompted by the Russian invasions.

The Russian attacks are continuous and get deadlier. While there is no confirmed direct link with the war, it has been identified of being purposefully committed by Russia. Ukraine has decided to immediately implement a law that keeps more than one top official from riding in the same aircraft at once. The attacks are unfortunately not showing signs of resolvement.
