Wrestlers Host Invitational Tournament

The gym, now empty, will be packed this weekend with mats and hundreds more people.

Thursday, Dec. 4, through Saturday, Dec. 6, Spring Hill wrestlers are hosting their home invitational meet. Wrestlers from a handful of schools in the area will come to compete. “I think it’s going to turn out great and I’m excited for all the schools that are going to come, it’ll be packed,” Payton Knipp, 11, said.

This is a big event for wrestlers, students, and watchers alike. It’ll be one of the largest athletic events of the year hosted by the high school. Tension will be high, so fill the stands and wish our wrestlers good luck!

Hi, I’m Lenore, and this will be my first year in SPUB! Every year so far I’ve taken at least one film or photography class, so even though it’s my first year in SPUB I promise I know what I’m doing. I am in my Junior year, and I am very excited to be a reporter for the school. I am, what one would call, a nerd. I love writing, reading, and getting to the bottom of things! My main goal is to write about information that not just a few people find interesting, but many people are drawn to. Outside of school, there’s a good chance you will find me sleeping, drawing, or being social. As of late, I’m really working to enjoy my high school years to the fullest (cringe, I know) by doing things I enjoy while still pursuing more difficult things. I am excited to add this to my list, in a mix of both taxing and rewarding.
