Lindsey Vonn to Compete in Olympics Despite Injury

A week prior to the upcoming Winter Olympics, American skier Lindsey Vonn crashed in a competition. After being airlifted off the mountain, Vonn took to Instagram to say that their Olympic dreams were still alive. On Tuesday, Feb. 3, Vonn announced in a Team USA press conference that they will participate in the upcoming games.

Starting on Feb. 6, the Olympic Games will take over television broadcast, with opening ceremonies on Feb. 5. Vonn and other Team USA athletes look to continue their Olympic reign. Closing ceremonies will be held on Feb. 22.
