Dazzlers Will Perform Their Spring Show on Saturday

Preparing to embrace the music, Shayla McKay, 12, lets the lights set the mood. At their solo showcase, they had put their all into showing the audience their skill and the time put into their dance.

On Saturday, Mar. 28, 2026, the Spring Hill High dance team will be performing their spring show. Energy is high, and the team is excited. “This is normally their favorite part because it’s where they can showcase all of [the] dances they’ve learned. I know it’s always my favorite,” Colton Barahona, dance manager, 11, said.

Dance is one of the many music and arts extracurriculars available, but it often doesn’t get as much attention as some of the others. Shows like their spring show, as well as the promotions they do, help gain support for their hard work and dedication.

Hi, I’m Lenore, and this will be my first year in SPUB! Every year so far I’ve taken at least one film or photography class, so even though it’s my first year in SPUB I promise I know what I’m doing. I am in my Junior year, and I am very excited to be a reporter for the school. I am, what one would call, a nerd. I love writing, reading, and getting to the bottom of things! My main goal is to write about information that not just a few people find interesting, but many people are drawn to. Outside of school, there’s a good chance you will find me sleeping, drawing, or being social. As of late, I’m really working to enjoy my high school years to the fullest (cringe, I know) by doing things I enjoy while still pursuing more difficult things. I am excited to add this to my list, in a mix of both taxing and rewarding.
