Details have been emerging about the recent bank shooting in Louisville, Kentucky. People began sharing stories of lives that have been lost in the shooting, around five people have been shot and nine are wounded. Louisville’s former mayor, Greg Fisher, said he’d known someone who was involved in the shooting. He knew 63-year-old Tommy Elliot, one of the five who was killed.

Out of the nine wounded, two were police officers. One of the officers, Nickolas Wilt, had just recently graduated from the police academy on March 31st. He’d been in critical condition Monday after being shot in the head and having surgery. The police department reported on twitter that he had “ran towards the gunfire today to save lives.” A few other victims of the shooting were Joshua Barrick, Juliana Farmer, James Tutt, and Deana Eckert.
