The annual Cotton Bowl college football game has been held since 1937, and this year Mizzou was selected to play against Ohio State. This game will be held on Dec. 29 in Dallas, Tex. This is the first time that Mizzou had been in the Cotton Bowl under their new head coach, Eli Drinkwitz.

As well as this being the first time since 1998 that these teams have played eachother, it has also been 9 years since a Kansas or Missouri team was selected to play in the Cotton Bowl. Mizzou currently sits at a 10-2 record, while Ohio State has an 11-1. With these two teams having similar records at this point in the season, it should be a intresting game to watch.

Hannah Mueller, Copy Editor
Hi, my name is Hannah Mueller and this is my second year in SPUB and I am one of our copy editors this year. I am so excited to be more creative with my stories and designing this year, as well as be a voice for our student body. Journalism matters to me because everyone's voice needs a chance to be heard and many topics are important but aren't talked about. Other than journalism, I am involved with theater and volleyball. I also enjoy reading and hanging out with my friends. I am beyond excited to see what is to come for this year.
