Early Sunday morning, two bodies were found in Valentine Apartments on Broadway Boulevard. At 1:12 a.m., Kansas City Police Department were called out due to a “horrible” smell that was reported by neighbors in the complex.
It was reported that the neighbors had not seen the people who lived in the unit in more than a week. When the police department contacted the manager about the unit, they found the bodies “in advance stages of decomposition.” As of now, the investigation is still underway and the cause of death is being looked into for foul play.
