Sweden Takes Final Steps to Join NATO

Hungary overwhelmingly approved support for Sweden’s bid to join NATO on Monday, after 2 years of negotiations and Russian’s disapproval. Of 194 NATO members who voted, only 6 rejected the bid.

Sweden is leaving nearly 200 years of neutrality behind by joining NATO and allying themselves with NATO countries. NATO will now contain 32 countries, after Finland joining as the 31st country last year.

Hi! I’m Dylan Estes and this is my first year in SPUB. I took Journalism last year, but that’s my only prior experience. I’m interested in all aspects of SPUB, but my main interests are with photography and interviewing.
