Everybody has a different rhythm that can increase their moods in different ways. People tend to enjoy spending time outside of their home or staying indoors. Although some people have jobs, play sports, or different fun activities, people know how to keep themselves busy. These different activities can affect how you have an output on life and how you might view it.

Anna Hord, 10, likes to spend her time with friends, working at Chick-Fil-A, and shopping. Hord works four days out of the week, and enjoys working at her job. Hord believes that these activities can help her learn how to multitask certain things, and it sets her up for any future jobs she gets. These things help Hord have a good balance between school, work, friends, and other beneficial activities.

“Mental health plays a role as well because, when you go out and do things with your friends, it can help distract you from things going on at home or in your head,” Hord said.

Hord likes to have a healthy balance between things happening in her life.

Taylor Neeck, 11, enjoys going to the gym and works at Starbucks. Neeck also enjoys working because of other financial benefits and being able to gain new connections with people around her job. Her outlet for mental health is going to the gym and getting into shape.

Kinze McCurdy, 10, rides horses and is still currently working towards starting competitive barrel racing. McCurdy teaches her horse how to do new patterns and has a coach who helps her along the way. McCurdy proceeds to work toward this goal as much as she can so she can make a career out of professional barrel racing.
