A case taking place in 1996 involving former President, Donald Trump, has recently been brought back into the public eye. Writer E. Jean Carroll is accusing Trump of raping her in a department story fitting room. When she claims the event first occurred, she wrote about it. Then, when nothing happened she became more determined, stating “I’m here to try and get my life back.”

While Trump denies the allegations, he has yet to attend the trial. Trump has only made comments online such as referring to the case as a “Witch Hunt” and “a made-up scam.” The Judge has said Trump has made inappropriate online statements that may only further his legal problems.
